Job Description

Salary: $58,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements:

  • US Citizen
  • DoD Secret Clearance
  • High School diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher Certification
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT Enterprise Operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, version 10
  • Experience with HP Service Manager, Remedy, or similar Service/Help Desk ticket management software
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs for up to 100 feet at a time; must be able to lift 25 lbs vertically using ladders
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, such as raised floors or communications closets; must be able to work in noisy environments, such as data centers and operations centers; must be able to stand or sit for 8 hours at a time
  • Ability to utilize basic hand tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches while rack mounting active and passive equipment using small screws and brackets
  • Must have normal color vision to identify different colors of wires and cables; correctable vision to 20/20 or better; depth perception to judge distance between objects safely
  • Must be able to use and read digital test equipment such as OTDR (optical time-domain reflectometer)
  • Must have a valid state license to drive a personal or corporate vehicle to different locations for work
Responsibilities:
  • Assist junior technicians in resolving complex issues
  • Manage the resolution of customer tickets according to established Service Level Requirements (SLRs)
  • Serve as backup to the Site Operations Lead
