This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects that drive data management improvements across a thriving organization. **Role Overview:** As a **Data Quality Analyst** , you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing data quality by identifying and resolving data issues, working collaboratively with business teams, and ensuring that data management principles are applied to improve the overall data quality framework. This is a contract position based in **Tempe, AZ** , with the flexibility of a **hybrid work model (3 days in the office)** , giving you the best of both worlds. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Data Quality Management:** Develop, read, and write SQL queries to support data profiling, cleansing, and transformation efforts. + **Problem Solving & Analysis:** Analyze data quality issues and work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to resolve them, ensuring consistent data integrity. + **Collaboration:** Work closely with business teams and internal stakeholders to align data quality efforts with organizational objectives. + **Data Transformation & Cleansing:** Apply data management best practices to improve the quality of data by performing data profiling, transformation, and cleansing. + **Project & Time Management:** Effectively manage multiple priorities, deliver projects on time, and communicate status updates on your work to ensure alignment with timelines. + **Support Data Quality Initiatives:** Contribute to the development and execution of data quality improvement projects, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards. **What You Need to Succeed:** + **Required:** + Proficiency in SQL: Ability to develop, read, and write SQL queries across multiple SQL languages. + Strong experience in data management principles including data profiling, cleansing, and transformation. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to communicate effectively with business teams and SMEs at various levels. + Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects. + Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. + Experience as a **Data Analyst** or **Data Engineer** . + **Preferred:** + A solid understanding of **Enterprise Data Quality approaches** and best practices for implementation. + Experience in conducting **Data Quality Improvement projects** , especially using the **Ten Steps to Quality Data** methodology. + Hands-on experience with **Collibra Data Quality & Observability** and **Data Catalog/DIP** . + Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly experience with **Kanban** and **daily standups** . + Experience in **Information Governance** or **Data Management** at a mid-level. **Why Join Us?** + **Impactful Work:** Contribute to key projects that directly improve data integrity, helping the organization make better, data-driven decisions. + **Collaborative Culture:** Work alongside talented professionals in a supportive, collaborative environment where your ideas and contributions are valued. + **Competitive Compensation:** Enjoy a competitive pay rate of **$64.05 per hour** , depending on your experience. + **Hybrid Flexibility:** Balance your work-life with the hybrid model, enjoying both in-office and remote workdays. **Ready to Take the Next Step?** If you have a passion for data quality, a knack for problem-solving, and want to contribute to impactful data initiatives, we'd love to hear from you! **Pay Details:** $64.05 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
