Job Description

Description We are looking for a dependable and detail-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team in South San Francisco, California. This long-term contract position offers a great opportunity to contribute to daily operations and gain hands-on experience in administrative support. You will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the smooth functioning of our order entry and customer service processes. Responsibilities: - Perform accurate data entry using proprietary order management software. - Update and maintain basic Excel spreadsheets to track essential information. - Scan, copy, and file documents efficiently to support organizational needs. - Sort, organize, and manage customer invoices and other critical paperwork. - Deliver and collect documents between bakery departments to ensure timely communication. - Assist with inbound and outbound customer service calls, addressing inquiries professionally. - Collaborate with team members to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance to ensure reliable support for daily operations. - Provide general administrative assistance as required to support the department's goals. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative or customer service roles. - Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to handle basic spreadsheet tasks. - Familiarity with scanning, copying, and filing processes. - Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work collaboratively with team members and independently when needed. - Reliable attendance and punctuality to meet the demands of the role.
